When I was a child I dreamed of not only being a writer, but of being published and having a book for sale in a bookshop with my name on its cover. And like the best of dreams, it came to pass. But even better, I’ve ended up with several books, selling in several different countries.

To date I’ve written acres of newspaper and magazine features; novels; non-fiction books; radio plays and documentaries; scores of Sunday Miscellany pieces; and dozens of short stories.

An undreamed of and most rewarding spin-off has been convening workshops, lecturing and holding seminars on various aspects of writing. My latest venture is an on-line clinic which will enable me to work on a one-to-one basis with writers.

My latest book Writing for Success which was launched at Listowel 2006 Writers’ Week neatly loops my writing to my work with writers.
